Nose
Balanced, malty sweet with fine sherry notes, very sweet, intoxicating smell.
Palate
Initial impression immediately dominated by sherry casks, dried fruits like dried apricots, a lot of honey as well as raisins and dates make the sweetness soar, caramel, pleasantly nutty-malty, roasted almonds with a hint of cinnamon, slightly chocolatey, the oak becomes a bit clearer.
Finish
Rather short, strong, sweet-spicy, cinnamon, nutty notes of roasted hazelnuts and almonds, some wood comes through again, but remains juicy and does not dry out at all, dried plums, marzipan.
