Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. This 2001 vintage Glenfarclas Heritage was bottled in 2011 at around ten years old, having been matured in sherry casks in the traditional Glenfarclas manner. It was originally bottled for the French market.
