Description
Between 2014 and 2017, Glenfarclas released a series of amazing 40-year-old single malts exclusively for the Taiwanese market. The labels feature Taiwan's national trees and flowers, from plum blossoms to peonies. The 2015 Edition celebrates bamboo, ubiquitous in Taiwanese culture. The bottle is presented in an elegant wooden box. Glenfarclas is one of the last truly independent distilleries in Scotland. John Grant and his son George bought the distillery in 1865, after founder Robert Hay had passed away. More than 150 years later, the distillery is still run by the Grant family.
