Intense, full of sherried and tropical fruit, nutmeg, almonds, citrus, vanilla sweet smokiness, caramel, raisins, orange pith, old rancio, and hints of tobacco and leather.
Palate
Full-bodied, rich and rounded, developing into fruity, smoky, and spicy flavors. Thick and sweet with brown sugar, stewed orange, spiced syrup, peaches, raisins, barley, roasted and caramelized notes, and a velvet coating.
Finish
Long-lasting, smooth, and smoky with a chocolate feel. Lingering spice, soft citrus tang, oily and creamy, with oak, sherry, peppery oak, and dry cocoa notes.
