Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. This special release commemorates the 150th anniversary of the Grant family's ownership of the Glenfarclas distillery, which was purchased for £511.19s.0d on June 8, 1865.
