Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit.

Smooth, satin-like, sweet malty and fruity flavours with a spicy kick, maple syrup, burnt cream, cooked apple, and developing baking spices. Getting drier with a refreshing minty character.
