Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. This delightful decanter contains 1953 vintage Glenfarclas, released in 2013 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. It is a limited release of only 60 specially commissioned crystal decanters, matured in a single oak cask for almost six decades and bottled at natural strength without filtration.
