Nose
Delightful aroma with rich amber color and elegantly oxidized notes. Luscious old fruits like pineapple, dried peach, and apricot, with sweet spices (cumin) and a hint of coal-like smokiness.
Palate
A splendid, silky smooth taste with a warm feel. Superbly balanced, offering real sweetness alongside a lick of treacle, and notes of fresh acorns to mature oak.
Finish
Rich, smooth, powerful, long, and resonant, with a sublime balance for an old whisky.
