Description

Considered among the finest of the Speyside malt distilleries and one of the few of its age to still be family-owned. J&G Grant became its sole shareholders in 1898 and continue to run it in a traditional manner, notably using direct-fired stills to create a rich, weighty spirit. This limited edition, part of The Famous Scots Edition series, is dedicated to the Scottish doctor and botanist Robert Brown (1773-1858), who made pioneering discoveries in botany, including naming the cell nucleus and observing Brownian motion [2, 5, 7, 14].
