Nose
Sharp yet rounded malty sherriness with notes of earth, tobacco, and leather. Hints of young spirit, red fruits, and floral elements. Also, savory honey, brininess, lemons, sherbet, wild herbs, heather, jasmine, lavender, and thyme.
Palate
Bright and full of zesty oranges and tangerines, with sweet white wine (Sauternes-like) and tinned apricots and muscat grapes. Strong black pepper, boiled toffee, marmalade, and bittersweet citrus (orange peel). Overtly sherried with warm notes, fruity brandy butter, rich heather honey, and dark stewed fruits.
Finish
Rather long with added spices and pepper, and oranges in the aftertaste. Some clove and cinnamon.
