Description

A higher strength single malt Scotch whisky, crafted with century-old traditions. After at least 15 years maturing in traditional American oak and Spanish oak, it is non-chill filtered to protect its subtle flavours. It offers unique floral and peppery notes with a sweet, velvet, warm finish. This cask strength whisky does not originate from a single cask; instead, it offers a strength typically found in whiskies aged for 15 years. It was first bottled in the 1990s and later became known as the Distillery Edition.

At full strength the smooth, warming flavour is centred around a delicious creamy spiciness. After adding a little water, the softer vanilla and gentle luscious fruit flavours come through.
