The Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky exemplifies the distillery's innovative spirit, created using a technique pioneered by its Malt Master. Its warm, spicy flavors are transformed with the alchemy of the Solera Vat, a large oak tun inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. This unique vat has never been emptied since 1998 and is always kept at least half full, ensuring a rich, consistent flavor in every bottle. The whisky matures in a combination of European Oak Sherry Casks, New Oak (Virgin Oak) Casks, and American Oak Bourbon Casks before mellowing in the Solera Vat.
