Description

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Reserve is a world-renowned Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, crafted at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, Scotland. It exemplifies the distillery's tradition of innovation, utilizing a unique Solera Vatting process inspired by the sherry bodegas of Spain and Portugal. This whisky is aged for a minimum of 15 years in a combination of European oak sherry casks, new oak casks, and traditional bourbon casks. The Solera Vat, a large oak tun, is never emptied and has been kept at least half full of whiskies since 1998, ensuring a consistent, complex, and harmonious flavor profile. This process creates exceptional depth, smoothness, and complexity, balancing fruit-forward freshness with rich oak maturity.
