Description

The Glenfiddich Cask of Dreams is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky released in 2011, commemorating Glenfiddich's 125th Anniversary. It was part of a unique campaign where 11 new American oak casks toured various US cities, allowing people to inscribe their hopes and dreams on them. These casks were then returned to Scotland and used to finish Glenfiddich whiskies, which had already matured for a minimum of 14 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, for an additional three months. This expression was bottled at 48.8% ABV and was initially a US-exclusive launch, with approximately 3,500 bottles released for that market.

Creamy mouthfeel, apple syrup over vanilla ice cream, nutty, malty, unsweetened chocolate, rough oak, coarse vanilla bean, crushed clove, cinnamon stick, cardamom, gentian, sarsaparilla, light and sweet, floral, fruity, malt, honey, spicy, subtle apple, vanilla kit kat, wood oak, and brown sugar.

Nice, lingering, sweetened malt, clove, vanilla bean, oak, salted nuttiness, rich oak, medium length, lemon, vanilla, sweet, reminiscent of bourbon, new oak spice, black pepper, and caramel.
