Description

A higher strength single malt Scotch whisky, crafted with century-old traditions. After at least 15 years maturing in traditional American oak and Spanish oak, it is non-chill filtered to protect its subtle flavours. Unique floral and peppery notes are released with a sweet, velvet, warm finish.

Nose
A delicate floral and creamy aroma with hints of freshly ground black pepper. With a little water, the fruity and vanilla sweetness of Glenfiddich is released. Warm cinnamon, baked apple, oak spice, and honey. Honeycomb, cinnamon-dusted pears, oak resin, and dried fig.
Palate
At full strength the smooth, warming flavour is centred around a delicious creamy spiciness. After adding a little water, the softer vanilla and gentle luscious fruit flavours come through. Intense layers of sherry, vanilla, clove, toasted oak, and dried fruit. Full-bodied and velvety. Warm spice, toasted nuts, orchard fruit, and vanilla pod swirl over layers of oak and sherry sweetness.
Finish
Lingering, sweet and velvety warm. Long, robust, and spicy with lingering sweetness. Lingering and dry. Gingerbread, baking spice, and soft oak tannins wrap up a bold, structured finish.
