Description
This 2021 release from Glenfiddich has been matured for 26 years in American and European oak and finished for over two years in Cognac casks. The name Grande Couronne means "Grand Crown" in French. Glenfiddich is a malt distillery in Speyside that distilled its first spirit on Christmas day in 1887 and has remained family-owned by William Grant & Sons ever since. The company was the first to make a single malt. It is presented in an opulent glass bottle wrapped in a regal, filigree gold print, embraced by a presentation box featuring the same opulent filigree design [cite: Whisky Auctioneer, Whisky Mansion, 6].
