Nose
A delicate floral and creamy aroma with hints of freshly ground black pepper, big fresh fruit like apple, pear, grapefruit, exotic citrus, pineapple, and orange peel. Also notes of heather, perfume, toffee, vanilla, marzipan, honeysuckle, and biscuity, grainy notes.
Palate
Smooth and warming with creamy spiciness, apples, pumpkin pie filling, flowers, orange, vanilla, toffee, and a slight sourness. Also notes of deep caramel, spiced orange, black pepper, fruits, peels, buttery, pain au chocolat, marmalade on toast, firmer and nuttier with spiced raisins, sherry, and fruitcake.
Finish
Lingering, sweet and velvety warm. Notes of spicy caramel apple, vanilla, hint of mint, burnt sugar, good length, and mouth numbing. Also gingery, slightly dry, pleasant nuttiness, candied fruits, raisins, spices, Christmas pudding, oak, and black pepper.
