Nose
Damp earth and whisky-soaked wood intertwine with deep vanilla and smoky embers. Elegant and fruity aromas of ripe apples, plums, cherries, and sweet malt meet vanilla, spices, and a subtle sherry note, slightly nutty with a hint of oak.
Palate
Rich with complex flavors layered by double-maturation. Sherbet and zinginess slowly turn to spice. Tempting plum and cherry follow, with hints of toasted almonds and fruit cake. Full-bodied and balanced, with sweet dried fruits, toffee, honey, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and delicate oak spice.
Finish
Silky and smooth. Medium to long, soft and warm, with gentle spices, subtle sweetness, and a hint of oak lingering pleasantly.
