Description
Glenfiddich was founded in Dufftown by William Grant, who had honed his craft at Mortlach distillery; and on Christmas Day 1887 the first spirit ran from the stills. Thanks to Grant's tenacity and stubborn self belief, the distillery flourished during a period of turbulence in the industry, and has grown to become one of the best selling brands of single malt whisky in the world. This particular release is a 1976 Private Vintage bottled in 2008 for Willow Park Wines & Spirits in Canada, from Cask No. 167, with an outturn of 214 bottles.
