Description

Introduced in 2016, this is the second entry in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series. Twenty experts each selected 20 casks, without being informed of the reason, following which Malt Master Brian Kinsman combined them to create this marriage. The vatting combines 17 ex-bourbon barrels, 2 sherry butts, and 1 port pipe. The liquid is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47% ABV. Project XX embodies the warm, fruity character of a classic Glenfiddich with hints of apple blossom, summer fruits and ripe pear.
