Description
Glenfiddich was an early advocate of the single malt Scotch category and is one of the best-selling Scotch brands globally. The distillery was built by William Grant in 1886, distilling its first spirit on Christmas day the following year, and remains family-owned by William Grant & Sons. This Glenfiddich Special Reserve from the 1990s is an older official Speyside single malt, capturing the classic late-twentieth-century style of Glenfiddich. It is no longer in production and is considered a discontinued official bottling, appealing to collectors.
