Description

A malt distillery in Speyside that distilled its first spirit on Christmas day in 1887 and has remained family-owned by William Grant & Sons ever since. The company was the first to make a single malt brand its flagship product and Glenfiddich was also the first distillery to open to the public.

Honey, ripe fruits (pear, apple, cantaloupe melon), hint of oak, floral notes, citrus (blood orange).
Palate
Vanilla, toffee, spices, creamy barley sweetness, golden delicious apple, butterscotch, light cinnamon, malty biscuits, sherry and sultana tones, subtle grape and vanilla flavours.
Finish
Long and satisfying, warm and lingering aftertaste, medium to short with oak, creamy, honeyed warmth, dried fruit, whisper of oak smoke, clean finish with gentle warmth.
