Description
A Highland malt distillery located in Dumgoyne, a small village to the north of Glasgow. Part of Glengoyne's seasonal-distillation series, this limited release was distilled in Autumn 1969 and bottled at a cask strength of 55.3%. Glengoyne is unique in producing Highland single malt whisky matured in the Lowlands and does not use peat smoke to dry their barley, instead using warm air. The label describes a rich aromatic bouquet with hints of toffee apples and a rich full flavour of oak and sandalwood.
