A bold, unfiltered Highland Single Malt from Glengoyne, bottled at natural cask strength and matured in sherry casks. Batch 1 of this series delivers a powerful, sherry-forward experience with no chill-filtration, no added colour, and no age statement - just pure, intense whisky crafted with Glengoyne's signature unhurried approach. It's a vatting of 1st fill sherry matured whisky tempered by some refill casks.

Nose
Fruity green apples, sherry, caramel, malt, hints of banana and vanilla. Citrus, fresh ginger, baking spices (cinnamon, allspice, cloves), dark cherries, marzipan, dark chocolate with orange bits, dried fruits, rich oloroso sherry, raisins, pecan pie, slight burnt sugar, hint of struck matches.
Palate
Sherry bomb with oak, apple, apricot, dark fruit. Malty sweetness, fresh oak and spices, dark chocolate, cherry-flavoured pipe tobacco, dried cherries and plums. Rich mouthfeel, sweet oloroso, dates, syrupy, toffee, nuts, sherry oak spice, vanilla oak, digestive biscuits, ripe bananas, hint of pepper.
Finish
Long and dry with lingering sherry, oak, and grape notes. Slightly nippy, fruity/malty sweetness, spicy European oak cask notes, spent match. Dried fruits, vanilla, oak spice, rich creme caramel, stewed prunes, sea salt.
