Description
A Highland malt distillery located in Dumgoyne, a small village to the north of Glasgow. For over a century it was synonymous with the blenders, Lang Brothers, however it was acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2003 and has been transformed into a highly-regarded single malt brand. [cite: Whisky Auctioneer] This 15-year-old expression, Glengoyne Distiller's Gold, was initially launched in Spring 2013, exclusively for the travel retail market. It is unpeated, with barley dried by air, and matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks.
