Description
A Highland malt distillery located in Dumgoyne, a small village to the north of Glasgow. For over a century it was synonymous with the blenders, Lang Brothers, however it was acquired by Ian Macleod Distillers in 2003 and has been transformed into a highly-regarded single malt brand. The Glengoyne Teapot Dram Batch No. 008 is a limited-edition single malt, part of a series inspired by an old distillery tradition where workers were given three fingers of whisky, three times a day, often from young, first-fill sherry casks. This Batch No. 008 is matured exclusively in first-fill European and American oak sherry casks and bottled at 59% ABV.
