Description

Sitting on the Highland/Lowland border, Glengoyne distills its whisky in the Highlands and matures it in the Lowlands. Founded in 1833, under the name Burnfoot, the distillery is now owned by Ian MacLeod distillers, which champions its slow distillation process and a complete lack of peat as well as a rigorous approach to its sherry cask selection. This Glengoyne 2008 single malt, The Distillery Cask #641, is a distinguished expression from the Glengoyne whisky distillery. With an impressive strength of 60.2% and bottled in 2018/2019, this premium whisky unfolds an intense taste experience. It is a single cask edition that offers a powerful and complex tasting journey, ideal for lovers of strong whiskies, reflecting the tradition and quality of Glengoyne.
