Description

Sitting on the Highland/Lowland border, Glengoyne distills its whisky in the Highlands and matures it in the Lowlands. Founded in 1833, the distillery is now owned by Ian MacLeod distillers, which champions its slow distillation process and a complete lack of peat as well as a rigorous approach to its sherry cask selection. This particular expression, Glengoyne 2008 The Distillery Cask 973, is a 13 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, distilled on 21st May 2008 and bottled on 27th August 2021 at 56% ABV from a single Pedro Ximenez Sherry Hogshead. It was released as a distillery exclusive bottling.
