Description

One of the best-known names in Speyside, the distillery was founded in 1859 by George Smith and remained family-owned until the 1970s when acquired by Seagram. It is today the crown jewel of the Pernod Ricard portfolio and one of the best-selling single malt brands globally. This 12-year-old expression is a classic representation of Glenlivet's style.

Palate
Incredibly full and smooth mouthfeel, with layers of fruit like apple medley and honeydew melon. Notes of vanilla, honey, brown sugar, light oak, orange citrus, and mixed dried berries are present, alongside licorice, baked fruits, fruit punch, and anise.
Finish
Citrus and soft tropical notes, with a hint of oak spice, vanilla, and a touch of leather. It has a medium length, offering stewed fruits, dried pineapple, cereal grains, nutmeg, and a slight salinity.
