Beautiful hints of polished oak, beeswax, leather, cooked fruits, floral honey, strawberry jam, Morello cherries, hazelnuts, dried grasses, aniseed, fresh golden tobacco, dusty spicing, star anise, stewed fruits and berries (particularly raspberries), light cereal aromas, honey, pollen, and wax.
Palate
Apricots, plums, sultanas, cinnamon, waxed oak, tropical hints (mango, pink grapefruit, bergamot). Waxy and full-bodied. Heathery honey, wood varnish, chippings, sappy and resinous oak. Tropical fruits (pineapple, guava, peaches, orange peels), foam bananas, citrus squeeze, gentle sourness (grape juice), nuttiness, subtle cinnamon.
Finish
Quite long, aromatic, with honey, cinnamon, leather, and a touch of Earl Grey. Long with a very nice astringency and cinnamon spicing. Tropical fruitiness.
