Nose
Walnuts and toffee with hints of creme and marzipan. Gentle, with light floral notes, floral honey, and ripe orchard fruits. Sweet and fruity aromas of honey and apricot jam, with notes of sweet cinnamon bread and subtle spicy liquorice.
Palate
A bang of spice including oak and cinnamon, with warmth and alcohol burn. Notes of coffee cake, chocolate covered oranges and citrus. Rich and full-bodied with distinct sherry notes, ripe grapes, raisins, dried peach, white pepper, nuts, and sweet floral honey. Succulent flavors of mandarins in syrup, ripe poached pears and chocolate-dipped raisins.
Finish
The spice tapers but lingers, full of oak and cinnamon, complimented by toffee and nuts. Lingering dried fruits like apricots and oranges. Long and lingering, with notes of light and semi-dry sherry, camphor, malt drops, floral perfume, and honey sweetness. Incredibly smooth and luscious.
