Nose
Complex with rich sweet fruit aromas of banana, juicy plums, apples, pears, and muted sherry notes, layered with luxurious dark chocolate and sweet toffee. Hints of floral notes, spice, and an intriguing sourness like apple cider vinegar.
Palate
Smooth and oily, with a tongue-coating mouthfeel of soft fruit sweetness, including charred orange, sweet dried cranberries, physalis fruit, fresh pressed orange juice, fruit cake, and pears. Balanced with spice, bitter nutty notes like citrus peel and almonds, vanilla fudge, and subtle cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish
Mid-length to long, with throat warmth, lingering creamy mouthfeel, and a drying oak bitterness. Notes of ginger, dried apples, cherries, dark chocolate, walnuts, nutmeg, cloves, and raisins, with a warming spice.
