Description

We've cast far and wide in our quest to reel in Speyside's finest. The Tight Line is the result of over 220 years of heritage combined with 34 years of alchemy between whisky and wood. This unique combination has infused a sweet, subtle, floral complexity with a long, warming finish of Bourbon-scented oak; worthy of prize status in this, and indeed any other collection.

Nose
The aroma is faintly floral, suggesting dried flowers, and lightly fruity, with hints of dried banana and dried apple. A suggestion of vanilla toffee and, wait, a hint of pineapple.
Palate
Unreduced, the taste is sweet throughout, with a long warming finish, very pleasant indeed. A drop of water, no more, opens it up increasing the floral element and introducing a trace of orange peel, becoming more vigorous and adding extra spice to the finish, as well as a satisfying, perfumed aftertaste.
Finish
Sophisticated and fragile like a Dowager Duchess.
