Description

This Glenlossie 2013 Claxton's Exploration Series is a 10-year-old Speyside Single Malt Whisky, matured for its entire duration in a single Oloroso Hogshead cask. Bottled on November 28, 2023, by independent bottler Claxton's, it is presented without coloring and is non-chill filtered, preserving the authentic character of the distillate. Claxton's Exploration Series focuses on bottlings from lesser-known distilleries, individual casks, and minimal intervention. Glenlossie distillery, established in 1876, is known for its clean, grassy-fresh, and unpeated spirit, which benefits well from sherry cask maturation. [1, 2, 3, 6, 12]
