Nose
Ripe cherries, sticky raisins, muscovado sugar, and toasted oak, with a hint of waxy orange zest. Dynamic. Toffee, caramel, fresh ginger and allspice.
Palate
Sweet toffee apples, with allspice and pepper, and sprinklings of buttered oatcakes. Lush. Deliciously sweet. Pop tarts. Demerara sugars, crème brûlée and Hovis digestives. Super spicy and peppery notes come through towards the end.
Finish
Barley sugar sweeties, with lingering pepper. Satisfying, leaving lingering hints of spices.
