Glenmorangie A Midwinter Night's Dram 2016 is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Highland region of Scotland. This expression was created by Dr. Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Distilling & Creation at Glenmorangie, inspired by the tradition of the Master Distiller gifting a special whisky to the distillery workers during the festive season. It is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and extra-matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, resulting in a fruit-heavy profile with notes of marmalade, gingerbread, and other winter flavors. The 2016 release was initially a Sainsbury's exclusive before wider distribution in the UK.
