Description

Inspired by the warmth of the Mediterranean sun, Glenmorangie Bacalta – Gaelic for 'baked' – is a radiant, richly flavoured single malt and the eighth release in Glenmorangie's acclaimed Private Edition series. The whisky was first matured in ex-bourbon casks, then extra-matured for two years in bespoke American oak casks that were heavily toasted, seasoned with Malmsey wine, and baked under the Madeira sun. This unique finishing process imparts complex layers of honeyed sweetness, luscious fruit, and a whisper of spice.
