Nose
Slow to lift, the richness of dark chocolate and coffee beans, with a hint of orange peel, followed by intriguing notes of wood smoke and a touch of menthol. Then come the classic Glenmorangie notes of vanilla, peaches and plums. A trace of red berries and blackcurrants, with a hint of marzipan, with vanilla, grape must and more.
Palate
Rich, full and brimming with a crisp and spicy flavour. The Côte de Beaune wood finish has brought a wonderful balance of rich redcurrant and blackcurrant fruit, with a hint of marzipan, with vanilla, grape must and more.
Finish
Long, dry and lightly chewing, with soft citrus and lingering notes of herbs.
