Description
One of the most recognisable names in Scotch whisky, Glenmorangie were quick out the gates to advertise and promote their Single Malt to a global audience as early as the 1960s. This Glenmorangie 18 Year Old Extremely Rare is part of Glenmorangie's Prestige Range. It spent its first 15 years in American white oak bourbon casks, with 30% then transferred to Oloroso sherry casks for its final days, while the rest remained in bourbon casks. After 18 years, the whisky was reunited and bottled at 43% ABV. This particular gift set was produced to mark The Open Championship at Muirfield in 2013, and includes two glasses, a golden golf ball, and two ball markers.
