Glenmorangie Lasanta is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky, part of Glenmorangie's 'Extra Matured Range' or 'Cask Finish series'. This 12-year-old expression is initially matured for 10 years in ex-bourbon American oak casks, followed by a two-year finishing period in Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The name 'Lasanta' means 'warmth and passion' in Gaelic. This non-chill filtered whisky is bottled at 46% ABV (for this older bottling). The distillery is renowned for its towering 26-ft stills, the tallest in Scotland, which contribute to a delicate and fruity spirit.
