- A rich, deep, sweet aroma of Madeira wine, orange peel, lemon zest and ginger. A good measure of demerara sugar, a sprinkling of cinnamon and nutmeg. Then a hint of wood smoke.
- Palate
- The taste is rich and intensely peppery, the Madeira wine notes are still present, but now with a hint of cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, barley sugar and ground coffee.
- Finish
- Long, chewy and spicy to the end with cinnamon and nutmeg and a hint of smoke.
