Description

Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Nectar D'Or is a refined Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky. It is initially matured in traditional bourbon casks before undergoing an extra maturation period of two years in hand-selected Sauternes wine barriques, which impart a unique layer of complexity and rich, dessert-like flavours. This unpeated whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered, offering a smooth and elegant character with notes of honey, vanilla, citrus, and spice.

Medium to short, dry, slightly astringent oak, warming, pleasing, slight salinity, long and lusciously sweet with lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla, traces of ginger and nutmeg, creamy coconut milk, vanilla custard, cinnamon, lemon and lime marmalade.
