Description

A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth, Glenmorangie was founded in 1843 and is today owned by LVMH. This particular release is a Rare Single Cask 12 Year Old, bottled in 2015 in honour of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco. It was released to help raise money for environmental causes, reflecting a collaboration between Glenmorangie and the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation. The whisky was matured in an ex-bourbon cask and is non chill-filtered.

Bursting with a floral and citrus bouquet, underscored by creamy vanilla and white chocolate, with distinct notes of heather and honey. Fresh citrus (orange, lemon peel), ripe peach, floral notes, honeyed malt, cream and gentle tropical hints.
Palate
A peppery mouthfeel is followed by tastes of vanilla, peaches, banana, lime and menthol. Vanilla, crème fraîche, orchard fruits (apple, pear), apricot and peach, soft spice and light oak influence.
Finish
A gentle aftertaste featuring vanilla, coconut ice cream, marzipan and ginger. Gentle, clean, with lingering fruit, honey, and a touch of soft oak spice.
