Description

A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills. This Glenmorangie 12 Year Old Sherry Wood Finish was initially matured in American oak casks for at least 12 years, and then racked into selected sherry 'butts' for a final period of maturation.

Finish
Medium to long, with lingering sherry sweetness, malty graham, brown sugar, oak, and a fading musty earthiness, gentle, warm, and subtly spicy.
