Nose
Deep and enticing, with peaches and cream, a little salt and sour. Sweet vanilla and honeyed wood, forest fruits, blackberries, oak, and prominent sherry influence with a subtle kick of spice.
Palate
Rounded and nutty, with cocoa and sherry. Spicy and sweet, caramel, spicy wood and pepper, sweet dried fruits, raisins, and peanuts. Malt is very prominent with the sherry.
Finish
Warm and lingering, giving way to salt and oak. Dry but long, intensely sweet with just a slight alcohol burn, wood, oak and malt. Sherry's presence is much more noteworthy.
