Description

Glenmorangie 16 Years Old The Nectar is the successor to the popular Glenmorangie The Nectar D'Or, taking its sweet character to new heights. This single malt is aged for 14 years in bourbon casks and then finished for two more years in a new combination of sweet white wine casks, including Sauternes, Monbazillac, Moscatel, and Tokaji. This process imparts delicious notes of baking brioche, orange syrup, honeycomb, vanilla, and nutmeg, creating a rich and indulgent dram.

Palate
Rich and sticky with swirls of honeycomb, orange syrup, and brioche, balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice and lemon zestiness. Dark chocolate-dipped cherry with hints of date, fig, and toasted hazelnut.
Finish
Long and lingering, with some lemon rind, baking bread, and a touch of honeycomb. Also, cheesecake topping rippled with raspberry coulis, and drying ginger spice.
