Description

A Highland malt distillery located near Tain along the Dornoch Firth. It was founded in 1843 and is today owned along with Ardbeg by the French multination, LVMH. The distillery's primary focus is its single malt brand, renowned for being produced using Scotland's tallest pot stills. A superb and very rare limited edition Glenmorangie, distilled in 1993 and aged for 12 years. It underwent an extra special finish in casks made from truffle oak from Germany's Black Forest. This release was bottled at natural cask strength and is non chill-filtered, with a limited outturn of 886 bottles.
