The cinnamon brings a welcome spice against the vanilla and caramel, while the dried cherry gives that sweetness a darker edge. The long, dry, spicy finish sounds like a fitting close.
The sherry, citrus and tropical fruit on the nose suggest a lively opening, while vanilla provides a link to the palate. Cinnamon sits alongside banana, coconut, dried cherry and caramel on the palate. That gives the sweeter notes some welcome spice, which suits my taste. The long, dry and spicy finish is the strongest point for me. Vanilla carries through to the close, but the dryness offers a contrast to the fruit and caramel that come before it. I tend to favour spice and a drier finish, so this combination has clear appeal. The fruit plays a larger part in the nose than my usual preferences call for, though, making this a good fit rather than an unqualified favourite.
Dried cherry and spice appeal.
Sherry, citrus, pineapple and mango make for an appealing fruity nose. Vanilla and cinnamon add a warmer turn, and the long, dry, spicy finish sounds good.
