A Speyside malt distillery that is today part of the Edrington Group following its acquisition of Highland Distillers in 1999. Unusually, the distillery and its brand had different owners between 2010 and 2017 when the label was briefly sold to Berry Brothers & Rudd in London. The nose was initially sweet and syrupy, with vanilla, toffee and perfumed wood, also citrus, pineapple and watermelon.

The palate was a delightful combination of dried fruits, marzipan, chocolate and hints of cigar boxes.
