Nose
Very fruity, tropical with ripe apricots, tangerines, oranges, creamy vanilla, subtle hints of wax, almonds, white pepper, and marshmallow candy. Also noted for a sweet, nutty bitterness and touches of old cough syrups.
Palate
Starts subdued but picks up with fruity notes of orange marmalade, honey, vanilla, and perfect oak influence with spices like nutmeg and pepper, and a bit of tannins. Some reviews mention slightly sour notes and a feeling of a quite tired whisky.
Finish
Not too long, but fruity and spicy in a near-perfect balance.
